AORUS Launches Universal Notebook Backpack for VR

The current high-end heads of the market are the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Their immersion is very strong. Their screen rendering effect and positioning tracking ability make people feel illusory and blur the real boundary. However, the cable between the head display and the PC not only limits the scope of the movement, but also has the risk of being stumbling and cable snaking, which has always affected the further improvement of immersion.

The performance of mobile VR heads, such as the Samsung Gear VR, Cardboard, and Storm Mirror, is far from satisfactory, and does not rival the high-end head immersions. The computer manufacturers have all launched their own mobile VR solutions. Yitsun, Sissi, Hewlett-Packard, and aliens that YiViAn reported have all hoped to solve this problem through piggyback notebooks. Now, Taiwan's notebook maker AORUS has chosen to release a general-purpose product, the AORUS B1 VR backpack, which can be used with a variety of laptops.

The B1 backpack features an ergonomic adjustable shoulder strap and a vented design. The two Velcros allow you to manage the cable well. There are additional pockets for loading sensors, batteries or other accessories. The middle belt can increase the stability of the equipment. The B1 VR backpack has thermal insulation on the back, which is to prevent the laptop's heat from affecting the user's gaming experience. The entire backpack weighs approximately 750g and can support 31.5 x 46 x 5cm laptops.

AORUS hopes this VR backpack can provide users with integrated mobile VR solutions to help users enjoy the fun of VR.
