In the process of producing copper monofilament, we often forget to maintain and maintain the soap liquid. In the actual production process, maintaining the soap liquid is a major prerequisite for efficient and high-quality production.

The soap plays three roles. During cleaning, the copper rod continuously produces fine copper powder. The soap liquid continuously flushes the die hole to avoid blockage of the die hole. When cooling, the copper rod generates heat when it is deformed, and the soap liquid transfers the heat quickly, reducing the copper wire and The temperature of the die hole prevents the wire from oxidative discoloration due to excessive temperature; lubrication, maintain a layer of lubrication mold between the copper wire and the die hole, avoid the direct contact and adhesion between the die and the metal, reduce the friction coefficient and reduce friction, and make the metal along the force The direction is evenly deformed, and the degree of deformation of the copper material can be increased, the energy consumption and the number of processing lanes can be reduced, and the service life of the mold can be prolonged. It can be seen that the quality of the soap will directly affect the quality of the cable.

There are three aspects to the effect of soap on the cable:

(1) Concentration, lubrication effect is closely related to concentration. As the soap level increases, the friction coefficient between the copper material and the mold wall decreases, the corresponding frictional force also decreases, and the tensile force also decreases. On the contrary, the frictional force increases and the required tensile force also rises. However, if the concentration is too large, the viscosity of the soap liquid will also rise, the effect of rinsing the die hole will be reduced, and the copper powder generated during stretching will not be easily washed away by the soap liquid, causing quality problems such as groove on the surface of the wire; Small, copper powder is easy to suspend in the soap liquid, not easy to precipitate, will affect the lubrication effect and the surface quality of the monofilament after stretching. Therefore, the concentration control is very important, and the concentration is between 5% and 8%, which is an ideal state.

(2) Temperature, when the temperature of the soap liquid is too high, the heat generated when the wire is stretched is not easy to take away, the temperature of the copper material and the mold is increased, and the monofilament is oxidized and discolored, and the service life of the mold is lowered, which also affects the childishness. The strength of the lubricating film and the lubricating effect are reduced. If the temperature of the soap liquid is too high, it will easily cause oil-water separation, which will affect the life of the equipment and the mold. The temperature of the copper dad soap should be controlled at 25~55 °C.

(3) Cleanliness, simply speaking, is its pH. When it is acidic, the inside of the soap liquid easily breeds anaerobic bacteria, causing the liquid to smell dark and corrode copper and equipment; when it is strongly alkaline, it remains. The soap on the surface of the copper wire will also cause corrosion, so the pH of the soap is about 7~7.5.

There are two external factors that affect soap:

(1) Circulating amount, the circulation of liquid in the soap liquid pool to the inside of the equipment is large. If the circulation amount is small, the temperature inside the machine body is high, and the flow rate is slow, the heat dissipation effect is not obvious, and the situation described in the above (2) appears. The circulation amount is large, not only the cooling effect is good, but also the cleaning effect is affected. The soap liquid is always circulating, the inside is filled with oxygen, and it is not easy to breed anaerobic bacteria.

(2) The ventilation effect between the soap liquids, the air circulation between the soap liquids will not form a sealed environment, and the anaerobic bacteria have no suitable living space, so that the life of the soap liquid is guaranteed; in addition, the ventilation effect is good, and the soap liquid is good. The temperature also has a slight effect, and the soap pool dissipates heat quickly to avoid excessive oil temperature.

When considering the drawing process, we must not only consider the mold, equipment and other factors, soap liquid is also a non-negligible link, only the links between the various links, our products can be quality and quantity, to a new height.
