Overview:

The ADA4960-1 is a high performance differential amplifier optimized for RF and IF applications. At 1 GHz and above, IMD3 outperforms 63dB, making it an ideal driver for 8-bit to 10-bit gigasample analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).

The ADA4960-1's buffered input isolates the gain setting resistor (RG) from the signal input, maintaining a constant 10k input resistance, which reduces matching and input drive requirements. It has a differential output impedance with a nominal value of 150. At 1 GHz and above, the ADA4960-1 has high bandwidth and low distortion. These features, along with adjustable gain capability, make it the amplifier of choice for general IF and wideband applications where low distortion, low noise and low power are critical.
