Google Pixel 2/2 XL Profile / Configuration Big Exposure: "Liu Hai" Design is the Highlight

Google will hold a press conference on October 4 to formally release the second-generation "Made by Google" Pixel mobile phone. In previous reports, the two flagship designs and specifications have basically surfaced. There is no 3.5mm headphone port, but Pixel 2 XL is manufactured by LG and will provide a higher screen share.

Foreign media SlashGear disclosed the specifications of the two phones:

The camera is a dual-pixel CMOS built-in Google image chip, Android O system (there is news that is Android 8.1). Equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, memory information has not yet been revealed, storage is provided 64GB or 128GB version.

It is worth noting that both Pixel phones are e-SIMs, which are built-in virtual SIM cards. In addition, both products support IP67 waterproof rating.

The difference between the two lies in the screen. The message shows that Pixel 2 uses a 1080P display and covers the fifth generation of Corning Gorilla Glass. The Pixel 2 XL is a 2K resolution curved screen, and the screen share is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, reaching 80% to 85%.

Speaking of the screen, the leaked person @Slashleaks recently shared a few (professedly) Google Glass 2 and Pixel 2 XL front glass cover photos.

Through the glass cover can see the size of the screen and the width of the border. Among them, Pixel 2's "forehead" and "chin" are still outstanding, and the left and right frames are at least a few millimeters wide. Long strips of holes are said to be prepared for dual speakers.

The Pixel 2 XL's cover is rather quirky, somewhat similar to the iPhone's "bangs" but its use is quite different. The upper and lower recesses should also be reserved for the speaker or sensor.

For the iPhone X and Pixel 2 XL with the "bangs" design, which product do you prefer?

Fused Silica Windows and Wafers

Fused Silica Windows is based on UV-grade synthetic fused silica. UV Fused Silica window provides better performance from UV to IR spectrum than BK7 windows. Also, it is the best choice in terms of thermal stability.

In addition to superior transmission characteristics, synthetic fused silica exhibits higher thermal properties, exceptional purity, and excellent environmental durability for demanding applications.Compared with other optical glasses like N-BK7, UV Fused Silica has very low autofluoresence and scattering.Fused Silica Window Substrates can be used for multipurpose applications. Purchase optically finished substrates to be coated with an AR coating, highly reflective dielectric or metallic coating.
