The lead investor for this round of financing is the Mayfield Fund. Napa Reeves, Tripp’s chief consul, said in an interview that the company views this experience as a “travel†that can change a person’s mood through perceptive and immersive virtual reality experiences.
“We created a localized virtual reality experience to change your mood. You can choose one from a range of sensations, like cheering on you before work, or calming down after work,†Reeves said.
Tripp is located in Los Angeles and San Francisco and is mainly engaged in the development of local virtual reality games. At the same time, it also develops some virtual reality experiences to help people live happier and more efficient. This experience combines sound, visual elements, game mechanics, and meditation.
Their research shows that digital interactive experiences can have an impact on people's brains. For example, the music we listen to, the games we play, the social media we browse, and the programs we watch frequently will change our mental state. Tripp wants to increase our control over this change and provide us with tools to slow down our pace of life, change our sleep patterns, or meditate.

At present, the company is still in the early stage of development and there is no product that can be used for display. Reeves said that this experience will be generated by computers and therefore may not be the same. Currently there are only six people in this team and it is planned to increase to 10 in the next few months. At the same time it has also established cooperation with external studios.
