The world’s largest Tesla Supercharged Station officially opened its service at the Lilac International Business Center in Pudong New Area on October 23rd. The super charging station is equipped with 50 super charging stations that can supercharge 50 Tesla at the same time.
According to reports, the Shanghai Lilac International Super Charging Station is located close to the Lujiazui CBD. The high-end residential areas in the area are dense, providing owners with a convenient and efficient charging experience. The completion of Tesla's world's largest supercharging station allows Shanghai consumers to experience the charging network services of Tesla's 154 super charging stations in Shanghai on the basis of enjoying the benefits of unlimited purchase policies. This also enriches the overcharged network in the Yangtze River Delta region. The number of supercharged piles in the Yangtze River Delta region has reached 294.
2017 is the fourth year of the Teslagengen China market. At present, Tesla has established over 700 super charging piles in China, and its charging and service network covers 170 cities nationwide. Prior to 2018, Tesla planned to expand the number of supercharger piles in China to 1,000, covering the Southwest, Jingjin, Yangtze River Delta, and Pearl River Delta regions in an intensive manner, linking the major regions of the country with links and self-driving travel routes.
