2. Features
a. The upper and lower covers of the double glass mobile phone are made of high-strength stainless steel material, and the middle frame is used to hollow out a large amount of metal in order to reduce the thickness of a layer of metal.
b. The frame is a whole. Because it is a glass panel and a back cover, the antenna can be directly used on the glass or the bracket. The metal frame does not need to be “dividedâ€, and only the required structure needs to be turned on the metal frame, and the structure is omitted. With nano-injection, the cost is reduced.
c. The whole frame is “groundedâ€
3. Antenna manufacturing process and materials
(1) Ultra-thin FPC circuit film as a design carrier
When the glass used is transparent, the antenna is not suitable for direct use on the glass. Manufacturers often make an opaque decoration on the inside of the glass. This is more suitable for covering the decorative film with an antenna film. Other circuits can also be placed. The ultra-thin FPC was attached to the PET film.
We call this film an "ultra-thin FPC" film antenna.
(2) Antenna design carrier (ultra-thin glass bracket)
a. The evolution of the traditional “plastic†bracket, the material thickness is 0.2mm, which is reduced by 0.5mm from the original 0.7mm, and can be formed in 3D.
b. The glass bracket can be assembled and assembled with other mobile phone components, which can increase the strength of other components and reduce the thickness of plastic used by other components.
c. With SCHOTT's 0.07mm thick glass, its dielectric constant of 7.7 (twice as high as plastic) is very suitable for ultra-thin (5.xmm) thickness mobile phones.
