It is expected to start shipping in June.
Huang Qi, a spokesperson for Hongqi, said that in addition to the South Korean market, Hongqi also received orders from mainland China TV factories, and the LED backlight business will grow significantly in the future.
Huang Anbang pointed out that Hongqi recently raised NT$1 billion in funds by issuing convertible corporate bonds and added SMD LED production capacity.
At present, the monthly production capacity of Hongqi SMD LED is 650 million, and the monthly capacity of the new plant can be increased by another 500 million. Hongqi plans to increase 200 million to 850 million by the end of 2010.
