Sunshine Lighting's net profit for the first half of 2012 increased by over 20% year-on-year

On August 21, Sunshine Lighting released the 2012 semi-annual report. During the reporting period, the company achieved operating profit of approximately 42.74 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.79%; total profit reached approximately 106 million yuan, an increase of 23.32%; net profit attributable to listed company shareholders was 88.36 million yuan, an increase of 21.55%.

During the reporting period, the structure of solar lighting products accelerated. The revenue of lamps and lanterns was 3.8305 million yuan, accounting for 32.32% of the sales, an increase of 29.96% compared with the same period of last year. The company built and improved the domestic “distribution channel network”, “specialized engineering network” and “chain supermarket network”. From January to June, the domestic sales reached 414.473 million yuan, an increase of 4.63% over the previous year, accounting for 34.97% of the sales ratio; Energy-saving lamps and LED products enter the mainstream markets and channels in Europe. At the same time, Sunshine Lighting won the bid for the national procurement of energy-saving lamps and won the bid for LED national procurement projects.

By the end of June, the company's LED project has invested 27,791,400 yuan, and will further accelerate the investment progress in the second half of the year to achieve capacity as soon as possible. In addition, the company will accelerate the construction progress of key projects such as LED lighting products, micro-mercury environmental protection energy-saving lamps, lamps, etc., especially LED products should accelerate the realization of production capacity. The company will continue to improve its domestic sales network, focus on systemic services, and promote the company's transformation from “traditional manufacturing model” to “manufacturing plus business model”.
