Wire and cable products implement mandatory certification

The China Quality Certification Center held a meeting in Tianjin on the mandatory certification of wire and cable products JB/T8734.1-6-2012 new standard. The meeting was attended by more than 90 enterprise representatives from North China. At the meeting, the requirements and procedures for the standard version change were clarified.

Certified products must be converted to a new standard certificate

For products that have been certified according to the old version of the standard and the implementation rules, the holder of the certificate shall submit an application for conversion of the new standard certificate to the China Quality Certification Center before the next follow-up inspection. Reissue the new standard certificate, complete the new standard certificate conversion, and apply for the certification of the certificate, each unit provides at least one model (only refers to the JS/T8734.1-6-2012 standard model) mandatory product certification Type test reports may be exempted from sample inspection. Otherwise, one sample shall be sent to the compulsory laboratories designated laboratories for type testing according to the requirements in Table 1.

The conversion of the certificate of the old version of the standard and the implementation rules shall be completed before April 1, 2014. If the conversion of the certificate is not completed within the time limit, our center will suspend it; if the certificate conversion work is not completed before July 1, 2014, China The Quality Certification Center will revoke its old certification.

No certificate conversion is required for certified products that have been shipped from the factory before the effective date of the announcement and are no longer produced.

The new standard has adjusted the certified products

The standard JB/T8734.1-6-2012 does not include RVP-300/300J-1.5 (2-core) or RVP-90300/3001-1.5 (2-cell) in the standard of JB/T8734.1-5-1998. The product no longer has the conditions for the implementation of compulsory product certification, and will no longer impose mandatory product certification on this part of the product since the publication of the announcement. The original certificate will be cancelled from the date of this announcement. If the original application needs to obtain the CQC logo certificate, the company must contact the product certification department.

CNCA-OIC-002:2007 products listed in Annex 6 and Annex 7, except RVV300/500V1.0 (2-core) (This model specifications have been listed in GB/T5023.5-2008 standard, model 60227IEC53 ( RVV), will use GB/T5023.5-2008 to implement mandatory product certification), other products have all been included in the new standard, will adopt the new standard implementation of mandatory product certification.

Major Changes in the New Standard The content of the JB/T8734.1-6-2012 standard replaces the JB/T8734.1-5-1998 standard and also includes the contents of Annex 6 and Annex 7 of CNCA-01C-002:2007. Compared with the above-mentioned standards and documents, there is no change in the product's raw material variety, and no increase in the product's test items. The main changes are as follows:

1, modified color chromatography;

2. Modified the distance requirement between the signs;

3. Increased the product model, revised the nominal cross-sectional area of ​​the conductor, and increased the number of cores of the cable;

4, relaxed the upper limit of the outer diameter of 10mm2, 16mm2 in BVR cable.
