Apple iPad 3 shipped as early as March 2012

According to AppleInsider, a technology website, the Apple iPad 3 will be available in March 2012 at the earliest, about a year after the iPad 2 is launched. The report also said that the new iPad will be the same size as the iPad 2, but it is not clear whether the screen resolution is higher.

As January 23rd is the Chinese traditional festival Spring Festival, it will take a week off and the factory will start producing iPad 3 at the end of January. Sources said that the production schedule of the iPad 3 is relatively compact.

The source also stated that the iPad 3 will be equipped with a smaller Dock interface, and the port will still use the 30-pin input and power specifications. For the first time in the current design, Apple's iPod was designed in April 2003. A related picture was also given in the report, which was allegedly purchased from a Far East parts dealer.

According to reports, the report indicates that the new Dock interface will cause compatibility problems with the existing Apple standard 30-pin interface, which may cause users to purchase new accessories or third-party manufacturers to create new products.
