Driverless driver experience

According to foreign media reports, Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently stated on Twitter that the driverless car he developed could predict the destination without the user providing instructions. Moreover, this feature is considered part of Tesla's commitment to "publish an improved Autopilot system by 2018."

On Friday (October 20th), a Twitter user suggested that Musk add voice control to Tesla Motors, that is, you simply tell the car where you can go to get to your destination. Musk said in his reply: "Actually, most of the time you don't have to tell where it is going, Tesla Motors can predict your destination in the future."

It is reported that Tesla Autopilot was one of the first officially commissioned unmanned systems, initially deployed on the ModelS, and later deployed on the ModelX in 2014. Since then, the system has undergone many hardware and software upgrades, and even saved lives. The latest Autopilot 2.0 hardware was released in February 2017, and the firmware update was launched in June.

As more and more automakers, chip makers and even private research institutions are dedicated to perfecting automation systems, autonomous driving technology is rapidly advancing. The government is also stepping up its deployment, whether it is through a test drive without a driver's car or a guideline for management techniques. Today's driverless systems have enough learning ability to achieve automatic safe driving.

It's not hard to explain why Musk is so confident in the new generation of self-driving cars, plus the features of Tesla's HW2.5 (a newer autopilot hardware plus new software) are expected to be available before the end of 2017 . Foreign media pointed out that this has greatly promoted Tesla’s car to be more intelligent, that is, “you can't say a word, auto-driving cars know where you are going” may be implemented.
