Molex subsidiary Temp-Flex launches new microwave coaxial cable

Molex's subsidiary, Temp-Flex LLC, announced that it will provide microwave coax with a proprietary process designed for high-bandwidth applications. In military and aerospace, defense, automated test equipment and medical applications, the new microwave coaxial cable can provide faster speeds and better electrical performance.

Jeet Sanyal, Temp-Flex engineering manager, said: “Our flexible microwave and RF coaxial cables are designed to meet or exceed the stringent requirements of a stringent industrial and military application. Customers believe Temp-Flex standard and enhanced Axle cable solutions provide the required reliability and performance, as well as faster, more competitive delivery cycles.”

It is understood that Temp-Flex coaxial cable solutions use fluoropolymer dielectrics for insulation and are designed to enable excellent monitoring and control of radar, military vehicles, satellites, space, missiles, RF ablation and measurement and test equipment.
