In order to accomplish the goal of energy saving for public institutions during the “12th Five-Year Plan” period, the State Council Organs Affairs Authority will synchronize with the relevant departments to promote “ten energy-saving projects” such as green lighting projects and zero-standby energy consumption plans.

In the green lighting project, the State Administration of Management will focus on promoting 25 million high-efficiency lighting sources, promoting lighting fixtures and intelligent control devices with reasonable light distribution, high reflection efficiency, and good durability, achieving a high efficiency light source usage rate of 100% in the office area. , LED and other semiconductor light sources use rate of 10% or more. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, 600,000 tons of standard coal was formed.

The zero standby energy consumption plan will strictly control the standby energy consumption standards of government procurement office equipment, adopt advanced power management technology, promote 12 million energy-saving outlets, effectively reduce standby energy consumption, and save about 2 billion kwh electricity per year, equivalent to 64 10,000 tons of standard coal.

In addition, the State Administration of Management will promote new energy and renewable energy promotion projects. A total of 1,000 solar domestic hot water projects have been promoted in public institutions nationwide; 100 solar energy heating projects have been promoted; 1,000 solar energy photovoltaic projects have been used; and 1,000 ground source heat pump projects have been promoted.
