According to DIGITIMES Research, the performance of various brands' shipments was recorded. The world's third quarter shipments of smart phones reached 331.9 million. The top ten brands were Samsung (Samsung Electronics), Apple (Apple), Huawei (Huawei) and Lenovo. (Lenovo), LG Electronics, Xiaomi (BBA), TCL, Oppo and ZTE (ZTE) accounted for 73.0% of the total.
In the third quarter, the 11th to 15th largest brand players shipped a total of only 8.4%, followed by Sony, Microsoft, Meizu, Coolpad and Asus. Among the top 15 players, the land-based brands account for 9 seats, the Korean and American companies each have 2, and Japan and Taiwan each.
Looking forward to the fourth quarter, DIGITIMES Research analyzes the supply chain's message and estimates that global smart phone shipments will approach 400 million standards, up nearly 20% from the third quarter. The first two major players, Samsung and Apple, are expected to double-station. With 80 million checkpoints, the gap between the two sides will be less than 10 million; the annual shipments in 2015 will reach 1,325.8 million, and the annual growth rate will face a double-digit defense.
