The hall theater building includes: concert hall, conference lecture hall, theater, gymnasium, exhibition hall and so on. In the decoration works of the hall theater, in order to achieve good sound effects with the speaker system, basic acoustic design and processing steps are indispensable.
What are the acoustic design standards for hall theaters?
(1) Reverberation time is between 0.8--2.5 seconds - too short, the sound is dry, too long, the sound is mixed and dry, ensuring clear sound and reproducing beautiful sound quality;
(2) There is good sound diffusion - the direct sound and the reflected sound are evenly diffused; the silent focus, that is, there is no large-area curved reflecting surface to focus the sound in one place to generate the over-excitation point;
(3) No room resonance - that is, the room length to width ratio is not an integer to avoid the formation of harmful room standing waves;
(4) No object resonance - that is, the object in the room does not resonate with the sound, and there is no sound pollution;
(5) Good diffusion and uniform sound field;
(6) When the noise is properly controlled, the noise floor in the hall is low enough.
The four methods of sound absorption in the hall theater:
(1) using ultra-fine sound absorbing glass wool;
(2) Adopting a five-ply resonance sound absorption structure;
(3) using asbestos acoustic ceilings;
(4) Natural sound-absorbing decorative objects such as curtains, wooden wall skirts, wooden floors, soft bags, and soft furniture.
The five main points of the acoustic design of the hall theater:
(1) The reflecting surface formed by the front side wall and the top panel of the stage mouth shall be designed for the reflection of the middle area in front of the auditorium;
(2) The floor panel is diffused and designed in the form of a convex arc-shaped circular surface, a triangular body, a cone, etc.;
(3) The ceiling under the building should play a role in strengthening the sound intensity of the rear seat, so that the sound field distribution is uniform, so that the farther from the stage can also obtain a clear sound;
(4) The decoration of the back wall of the auditorium shall be determined according to the function of the hall and the mode of performance. For concert halls and opera houses where natural sounds are performed, the back wall should be acoustically reflected and diffused. In the hall of the sound reinforcement system, the sound absorbing structure can be selected, and at the same time, the echo is prevented from being generated;
(5) Noise control at indoor details, noise control processing for noise vibration sources such as air conditioners, stage machinery, and lights.
