This smart trash can tell you that you should recycle classified waste

Tencent Digital (Compile: Bear) garbage collection is actually a very complicated process, not just simply classifying metals, plastics, and paper products. For example, in Japan, even ordinary plastic bottles need to be further divided into different packaging materials, bottle caps, bottle bodies, and other different materials, and according to different characteristics can be further staged. This complex recycling process sometimes stops us “outside the door” and loses the patience for further recycling.

However, recently in France, a company called Uzer developed a Eugene Smart Trash can help people better understand the entire process of garbage collection. Eugene looks like an ordinary trash can, but it is equipped with a bar code scanner that can throw away trash for scanning.

The

For example, if you want to throw away a plastic bottle, you first need to scan its bar code, and then use the app of the smart phone to tell us if the cap and the bottle need to be recycled separately.

If there is more than one material to throw away, such as food packaging that may contain wood, plastic, and paper, Eugene tells us which parts should be recycled and which parts should be thrown into the trash.

In addition, if you are throwing away some necessities or foods, Eugene will tell you through App what items are not enough to be replenished in time, such as milk and eggs, so that there will not be any defects that are not available at the time of use.

Currently, this Eugene trash is still in the prototype stage and is expected to wait until 2017. If you are interested in garbage collection or this smart trash, you may wish to keep an eye on it.
