Why love Idyll slow?

The market that iQiyi entered this time is a fiercely competitive field like the one in that year. There are already more than 100 live applications competing for users. This is the Red Sea.

Why did the iQiyi enter the live broadcast until now? Founder Gong Yu said at the press conference that "IQI is not like six years ago, several people can make decisions, and now the company is big," which means that iQIYI is not as flexible as a small company. So it will slow down half a beat.

The so-called star-chasing content is to tap existing IP and star resources. For example, iQiyi owns a lot of home-made dramas and home-made programs. In addition to these programs being put on the website, the shooting process will also allow viewers to pass the show. See; In addition, in the contract with the artist, iQiyi will also request that part of the working time be put into the live broadcast.


Star-building is another key point of Qixiu's live broadcast. Iqiyi has released the "Star Trails" program aimed at tapping civilian stars. Xu Weifeng introduced that Qixiu Live will dig high-quality anchors from ordinary users, and high-quality new anchors will sign brokerage companies and receive professional training to become star anchors or contract artists. In addition to catching up with the live boom, iQiyi did not forget the hot VR. Qixiu Live also launched its own panoramic live broadcast platform and cooperated with Insta 360 and OKAA VR two panoramic camera manufacturers.

According to Chen Jinjun of Insta 360, the cooperation with iQIYI is mainly to provide a batch of equipment for anchors and stars; in addition, the underlying technology and SDK will be opened to iQiyi.

At present, many live broadcast apps are releasing their own VR live broadcast platforms, such as the live pepper broadcasts some time ago. All of them have similar practices. They are working with panoramic camera manufacturers and adding split-screen mode to the App, and users can watch through the VR mobile phone box.

This model is cheap and easy to use, but the quality of live streaming depends on the quality of the video stream, the user’s mobile phone, and the viewing box. The interaction aspect is also a big problem. Most of the current mobile phone boxes can only watch and cannot interact with each other. It is very difficult for the host to like, send messages, and reward. This is an important part of the live broadcast to attract users.
